Design & Setup

James and Olivia’s wedding was more than just a milestone for them—it was also a significant moment for me. This was the first wedding I had ever designed florals for, and the experience was both thrilling and deeply inspiring. From the start, Olivia had a clear vision: white roses, baby’s breath, and silver dollar eucalyptus. On the morning of the wedding, I arrived with buckets of freshly cut flowers, ready to bring her vision to life. Arranging each bouquet, centerpiece, and runner on the spot, I felt the excitement of creating something beautiful in real time. Seeing the venue transform with each fresh placement was incredibly rewarding.

Creating Olivia's Bouquet

The night before the wedding, I crafted Olivia’s bouquet—delicate yet timeless. The lush white roses, fully bloomed in soft, layered petals, paired beautifully with the soft baby’s breath, creating a bouquet that exuded pure elegance. Handing it to her the next day, I watched as she walked down the aisle, the bouquet perfectly complementing her radiance. Seeing my floral work become part of such a meaningful moment was surreal.

The Beautiful Experience

At dinner, the long runners of greenery stretched beautifully across the tables, tying everything together. As guests laughed and shared stories over candlelight, I realized just how much flowers enhance the atmosphere of a gathering. The floral arrangements weren’t just decorations—they were part of the experience, setting the tone for warmth, love, and celebration.

Many Lessons Learned

This wedding taught me invaluable lessons—preparation is everything, and help goes a long way. I’m beyond grateful for my family’s support in the setup. Most importantly, this event solidified my passion for floral design and inspired me to launch my own floral business. James and Olivia’s wedding wasn’t just the start of their new chapter—it was the beginning of mine as well.
